State of Decay 2 Juggernaut Edition Update 15.1-CODEX

Good to see that CODEX has released an update to the Juggernaut Edition.

Thank you for providing it here.

Anyone wondering what this new update to the game brings, here it is:

Update 15.1:
Gameplay
Characters whose maximum Stamina has dropped to zero no longer act as if they have full Stamina.

Characters no longer stutter when moving left and right when performance dips.

Settings
We fixed a problem that caused existing owners of State of Decay to end up with both Flashlight and Crouch accidentally bound to clicking the left stick on a controller.

If you have not already edited that control yourself or reset controls to default, then this update should correct the problem.

We made it possible to manually rebind Interact and Quick Finisher to the same button, where previously, you could only get them into that configuration by resetting all the controls to default.

We added for ultra-wide 21:9 resolutions to the video settings drop-down.

Missions
Living at the Prescott Fire Station no longer prevents you from satisfying the Warlord Legacy requirement to build a Fighting Gym.

The built-in Workshop at the Prescott Fire Station can now be used to fulfill the crafting requirements of the Builder Legacy.

Prestige
Daybreak no longer inadvertently caps your prestige earnings at 9999.

Technical
We fixed some excessive, minutes-long load times that sometimes occurred on faster PCs.

We fixed a potential crash when viewing the Legacy Pool from the Main Menu.

We fixed an error that could occur when exiting the multiplayer menu in the Steam version of the game.

Other Changes
We fixed a range of minor audio issues, including music that wasn’t quite long enough for the updated credits.

We also made sure our most recent hires actually appeared in the credits for Juggernaut Edition.

*** @Gademit, and other GUESTS and regarding Game Saves after Update 15.1 ***
Your game saves are still there, the community that you have built is not lost. Here is what you need to do to continue your game with your community and the game saves you have after the update. I have recently tested this out on my own PC, and discovered that the solution that I came up with works with the current update 15.1.

Here is what you need to do if you are still playing the game with your community and have not finished the Heartland, Daybreak (add-on pack), or Independence (add-on pack):

1) Open Windows Start Menu, type into the Search the following: run
Press the Enter key on your keyboard. The Run command prompt window comes up. Type the following: %appdata%
Press the Enter key on your keyboard.

2) From the AppData folder that you now have open, navigate to the following location: AppData > Local > StateOfDecay2 > Saved
Delete the Steam folder from the directory path listed above, then close the open AppData folder window so that you are back at Windows Desktop.

3) Start your game, select whatever Main story campaign or add-on pack you were playing, and select Continue to continue playing from your last save point with your community that you have built.

It’s important to note here that the game will auto-generate the Steam folder and put it into the Saved folder of the AppData directory path where your Original Game Save is stored for State Of Decay 2: Juggernaut Edition. This is due to the current update of 15.1 and how the emulated Steam client handles Game Saves for cracked games.

Like I said earlier, your Original Game Save will not be lost, and is actually stored in this location: AppData > Local > StateOfDecay2 > Saved > SaveGames > 8877665544332222 > Release > v2

As you make progress through the game with your community with either the main story campaign or one of the two add-on packs, all your New Saves will be stored in the Steam folder found in: AppData > Local > StateOfDecay2 > Saved
– And … all of your Original Game Saves will act as your backup, should you need and decide to use them, if ever you want to go back to make any changes in game to your community.
