CODEX has now taken the steam version of the game and savegames from previous versions dont work and I cant find a any way to make them work. Steam verion saving is totally different from non-steam. So after 200+h of gameplay through multiple updates I can not continue with it in this update. Very demotivating.
It is possible to transfer your game save from EGS to Steam. Here’s how:
Follow each step carefully
Disable Steam Cloud Saves for Snowrunner
Library > SnowRunner > General > Steam Cloud > Turn Off
Find your SnowRunner Steam Save folder
It should be located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\data\ [NUMBER]\1465360\remote
SnowRunner Save folder should have.cfg files in folder.
Copy files from EGS to Steam
Open EGS save folder at C:\s\ [NAME]\Documents\My Games\SnowRunner\base\storage\ [NUMBER]
Copy all the files from said folder to your Steam save files folder – C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\data\ [NUMBER]\1465360\remote
Rename copied files for Steam compatible extension
Rename newly copied files in your Steam Save folder from *.dat to *.cfg.
If you can’t see files extensions, check “View” tab on your folder and enable “File name extensions”.
Delete remotecache.vdh file
Located here : C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\data\ [NUMBER]\1465360\remotecache.vdh
Run the game, check if the progress is correct
Turn Cloud Saves back on
Select “Local Files > To Steam Cloud” when Steam asks about Cloud Saves Conflict
You can now launch the game.

Is anyone else randomly crashing after 30 mins – 1 hour of play? I just get the crash reporter and i can still play until i close it, but the progress isn’t saved. Tried blocking the game in firewall, no change.
yeah I’m having the same problem here,the crash reporter jumps out randomly when the game tries to save my progress
I could only find that there was the same issues on the PTS 12.0 version or something at the beginning of the year, but nothing for this update. I don’t know if it’s only the cracked version.

I cannot find this games saved location as it is not in the same location as the last version so not happy to have to start from beginning again because i had completed all the old maps and have plenty of vehicles so a little disappointed about not being able to located saved games on my pc
How to transfer savegames from nEOS/CODEX cracks of Epic Store version to Steam CODEX?
Run your game once so it would create necessary folders
Go to “C:\s\YOUR NAME\Documents\my games\SnowRunner\base\storage” folder
There will be either “0” (nEOS) or “1638” (CODEX) subfolder in it
Copy all files from one of those “0”/”1638″ folders to “C:\s\Public\Documents\Steam\CODEX\1465360\remote” folder
Change extensions of copied files from .dat to .cfg
Play with your old saves
Rob thank you for your advice and to add I had moved the files across but did not change file extension but once doing so the game ran just great except for a few shutdowns which I can live with.. cheers
I had finished the snowrunner. then I deleted the game. I restarted yesterday and it keeps making mistakes and kicks me out of the game. it does not record my last place in the game. There is a problem with the save files. Please, playing the AMUR – Russia map send me the Snowrunner save folder? I would be glad if you all game data to any site.

For anyone crashing, go to piratebay and get SnowRunner New Frontiers Crackfix incl DLC-CODEX from dauphong, it says it fixes crashing and also has the new dlc trucks.
Could you test this new Crack from dauphong bro? Is it really works?…i have the same issue with crashing after 20 or 30 min playing.
