After three attempts the base game as well as the full upgrade path to this update will not work on my system. ed and installed just fine, just does not work as per the instructions. I think it is running a check before starting the launcher and that a step to by that is missing (from the instructions).
Forgot to mention that the AV did not flag anything and was disabled on last two install attempts, and that the firewall was completely off, as well as me trying to run ShooterGame.exe directly, and in mode.
I copied this message from the base game for visibility.
Good news. After heading back to delete everything I finally noticed that \ARK Survival Evolved Extinction\ShooterGame\Binaries\Win64
has a second copy of steamclient64.dll which is not being cracked. Since there is a copy of this in the crack folder I just renamed the uncracked
version and copied the cracked version to the ShooterGame\Binaries\Win64 folder. Trying to launch the game threw an error that “steam_emu.ini”
was missing, so I copied that over as well. After that the game launched and I was able to get spawned in.
So I suggest that you just copy the entire contents of: CODEX\Engine\Binaries\ThirdParty\Steamworks\Steamv132\Win64
to ShooterGame\Binaries\Win64 and overwrite steamclient64.dll. When you are installing the updates there is no need to copy these files with
each update, as only the last update’s files are needed.

@ T-Rex I hope u see this cause im getting out of my mind.i cannot install the update(first two ones) ,it gives a ISDone dll error.NOT a crc missmatch some kind of other error it doesnt specify what exactly.the solution u provided means u installed the updates without problems?and if yes how come?please reply.thnx
