I really hope they will find a way to transfer old save data from Codex/FitGirl relase to Director’s Cut. It’s definitely not profitable to restart from zero a game which lasted 200 hours.

How to.. transfer save data from old V1.06 to Director’s cut?
Useless without any way to transfer SaveGames from 1.06 to DC.
Since no one has ed V1.07 (the one which allow to /convert the save data) I think there is no way to do this manually.
I asked the same in FitGirl site and I really hope they will do something to allow this very important feature.

The saves are working.
Do it according to the instructions:
The game does not allow players to share their save data, displaying a “corrupted data” error.
Modify the game executable to by the save data checks[43]
Open \ds.exe or \DeathStranding.exe in a hex editor (e.g. HxD).
Search for 75 05 41 C6 46 3A 11 48 8D 8D as hex.
Replace it with EB 05 41 C6 46 3A 11 48 8D 8D to by the checks.
Save the changes.
Launch Death Stranding and load the game.
On the first launch, a “corrupted data” error may pop up: click “OK” and ignore it. This will only show once.
When the new save data has been loaded and saved, the original executable can be restored.
