they are releadates like every month now. it’s already a lot that they are giving us update as soon as ea releases them, they can’t make a 30gb repack every single month. i wouldn’t even it every time

It has never had an issue like this before.

Same for me, I’m pretty sure I had all the previous updates (no errors), but I’m getting an error when installing this one?

I know what’s wrong with mine. For some reason Origin “repaired” or messed with the game without my permission, changing the files. The only way to fix this is a full reinstall and updating them all over again..

No harley quinn stuff in the official releases. But you can always get custom content if you want it. There’s tons of great content already available at sites like simsresources.

LAST UPDATE GUYS:

I FIGURED OUT THE FIX. If you HAVE issues installing the update:

– Make sure your TMP folder has plenty of space (I used a RAM TMP drive)
– Make sure your drive has enough space.
– TEMPORARILY DISABLE Controlled Folder Access. It messed things up for me.
– BACKUP the GAME folder just in case install fails. If it fails, you can manually copy over the files it messed up to your test-install directory, and the hashes will succeed again. MAKE SURE TO ALSO copy over ANY BASE FILE that the CDX file was referring to (e.g. abc.cdx.diff refers to abc.package, so overwrite abc.package with the original version), OR the install will fail with a weird isdone.dll error. I made sure there were no CDX files left over and my test-install directory was pristine again (I had to try multiple times since the install failed the first tries)

1. Reinstall the whole game and all updates.
2. That should be it.

It bears note that I had to try reinstalling this way many many times (each time needing to fix the directory from my backup to make it pristine). It eventually succeeded.

I don’t know what’s wrong with this update. But I actually got it to work after installing it like 20 times (see my steps above). Game is running perfectly and is all updated. I hope they can fix this issue though.

It worked for me. But you need to backup your game folder before doing the updates (and if it falls, make the copy pristine again). And keep trying (making sure you replace all changed files with hashes that failed with the original from the backup, INCLUDING recopying over package files that it was working on (cdx files will tell you which ones), then delete all the extra cdx files). You have to try many times, but keep adjusting settings, make you you have enough memory, both tmp folder and disk space, and make sure controlled folder access is off. Eventually it should work.

Once mine finally succeeded, the game runs perfectly like a charm. Not a single error anywhere.

Did you copy over the cracked exe from the codex folder? For what it’s worth, try ing the update from several other links. My exe is working fine. Also, I suspect it’s not the exe that failed, but rather updating the files had a problem and the exe crashes cause it couldn’t load something
